RESPONSIBILITIES
As a resident you will be required to follow the covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CCRs) and By-Laws. If you have not been provided a copy, you can obtain an electronic version on the documents page.

The most common CCR violations and fines can be avoided if you know the rules:

Dish antennas may not be visible from the sidewalk (Public right of way)

Garbage Cans and recycle bins may not be visible from the sidewalk.

Animals must be on a leash. Complaints involving barking dogs will be handled by the Bellingham Animal Control officers.

Any ancillary buildings to be built on any lot such as tool or storage sheds, regardless of when they are built, are subject to all the same design parameters set out in the guidelines governing house dwellings. The size and design, including materials and colors, of any ancillary building on the lot must be complimentary to the house and approved in writing by the Board of Directors.

Stonybrook neighborhood is limited to residential use only; commercial activities are prohibited.

Be aware that the Bellingham Police will issue tickets for parking on the sidewalk (Even partially) and in the yard. Park in the driveway and tell your friends and family NOT to park on the sidewalks when they visit.

Parking of utility trailers, boats, or RV’s in your driveway or in the neighborhood, other than short term servicing or maintenance is prohibited.

Speeding in residential areas is prohibited by the City of Bellingham, especially in neighborhoods with families. Drive with care.
